Curiosity dwells in the surrounding

“I have four pens.” Why we use “have,” my little brother asked me. Now many things may come to your mind, like “How dumb question it is!”, “he doesn’t know grammar!” and so on. It is not a wrong question. It determines the use of the verb “have”, “has” and “had”.

There is not a dumb question. Even students in the school should ask, why “1+1=2”? and “1+i2 = 0”. For a mathematician to prove, “1+1=2” needs proof of more than 2 pages in Number Theory. It is not an easy thing to digest. So just don’t say, “It is because it is”, everything has a reason behind it, even “1+1=2” had a reason so, don’t shut up a student when they ask such a question, explain to them if you are such a great teacher if they don’t understand then tell them they will grasp later.

“there are no Good or Bad questions, it depends who is answering the question”
- Anuj Nagar

Questions are the only thoughts that raise the brain efficacy. And that will help to grow the children intelligence.

What does come to your mind when someone asks you a question?
Of course! An answer, that’s very true. But if we focus on the thought process for delivering the response, then it has few steps: Analyzing the question, whether you know something about it or not? If yes, you will try to approach it in two ways. Either you will speak everything that comes to your brain, or you will form a phrase in sequential order and, then you will tell it.

But few more things happen while we listen to a question. We analyze this question based on the person who is asking. For a child, we will formulate our responses in such a way that will address the curiosity of the young person. But if a person is an adult, then we need to explain it in another manner. So it feels like a complete explanation.

Answers depends upon surrounding

We also analyze the question on the situation. If we are facing an interview, that might be a different scenario. If we are speaking in public, it is different. When we counter a known person, way of approach changes while covering a crowd or interview.

So what makes differences in the situation?
These all situation changes the answer. When a person is in familiar surroundings, the amount of trust and comfort increases, and affects the thought process. While talking publicly or to an unknown person, many thoughts are circulating, because we think more and not just the answer. We also think about the impression that the answer will create. And also the judgment that the opposite party will take.

If this hinders you, then how can we get rid of it?
Here the answer is not simple. It needs practice and also perseverance. There is no short-cut to this process. You will be able to answer the question if you have some knowledge. For having acquired the knowledge, you should have asked the same questions to yourself or someone else.

How to ask questions?
To ask a question, you should know what you are asking in the first place. And why are you asking?
The reason behind “why are you asking?” is, there should be a purpose for a question. Do you want to know more about it? Or you not understanding it? As mentioned above in the quote that there are no good or bad questions. Questions are merely unsolved doubts. And every doubt is generated when we try to learn or explore. There are unsolved problems and questions in the stream of science and technology and spirituality, which helps the young minds to think, build, invent, and discover the unknown. The question is the only thing that can make one curious and mad at the same time.

Focusing on the root of the question and Why is important

In conclusion, questions are not mere inquiries but essential tools that ignite our pursuit of knowledge and understanding. From the simplest arithmetic concepts to the most complex scientific mysteries, every question has the potential to unravel new dimensions of learning. Encouraging questions, fostering an open-minded approach, and recognizing the nuanced nature of answers will undoubtedly propel us towards greater intelligence and enlightenment. So, embrace the questions, for they lead us to explore the uncharted territories of human knowledge.
